Freaks and Geeks
The show aired on NBC for one season in 1999-2000. Set at McKinley High School in Michigan, Freaks and Geeks centers on a teenage girl, Lindsay Weir (Linda Cardellini) and her brother, Sam (John Francis Daley). Lindsay is one of the smartest kids in school, but after the death of her grandmother, tries to leave her smart kid days behind her and tries to fit in with the so-called 'freaks' of the school. On the other hand, her brother is definitely one of the geeks as he starts his junior year in high school. The show only ran for 18 episodes - only 12 were shown on television - before it was cancelled by NBC.Other Links
